About Me
I completed my Residency in Adult Psychiatry and Postgraduate Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Miami School of Medicine. I was selected to be the Chief Resident by my faculty and colleagues for my professional competence and leadership skills. I also completed Psychoanalytic psychotherapy training PPC (Psychodynamic Psychotherapy course) from the Florida Psychoanalytic Institute.

I’m a certified TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) provider which is a breakthrough alternative FDA-approved treatment for severe depression.
I specialize in the concomitant use of medication and psychotherapy to achieve not only remission of distressing symptoms but also recovery and wellness in those with whom I work.
I have over 15 years of experience working as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist. I have worked with a wide range of patients throughout my career including institutionalized patients with severe psychopathology to patients in the outpatient setting who may be experiencing their first break. I specialize in women's mental health issues.I have expertise working with multiple symptom patterns, including those associated with complex grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression.

I offer sessions for medication management as well as sessions for psychotherapy combined with medication management. This is mutually discussed at the end of the evaluation.

I look forward to speaking with you.
